What is Puente Romano?
Puente Romano was built in 1976 as a residential complex on the Golden Mile, designed as an Andalusian village of whitewashed houses, tiled roofs, cobbled squares and flowers. It takes its name from the first-century Roman bridge preserved within the grounds. Some sixty units were sold privately and, in 1979, the rest passed to the businessman Mouaffak Al Midani, who turned the complex into the Puente Romano Beach Resort hotel.
That same year its tennis club opened, with Björn Borg at its head, and it remains a sporting landmark in Marbella. Today the resort brings together the Nobu hotel, a Six Senses spa and a restaurant plaza with names such as Nobu, Leña and Sea Grill, which make it the social centre of the Golden Mile.

What kind of property is there in Puente Romano?
Within the complex and its immediate surroundings there are apartments and penthouses in the original Andalusian village architecture, with access to the resort services, and luxury villas and complexes on the neighbouring plots of the lower Golden Mile. It is one of the most sought-after addresses in Marbella for anyone who wants hotel, beach and restaurants on foot, and supply is scarce and slow to turn over.

Who is Puente Romano for?
For those who want to live inside a resort on the Golden Mile, with beach, tennis, spa and restaurants on the doorstep, and for the investor after the address with the strongest international recognition in Marbella.
