What is Las Brisas?
Las Brisas is the villa development surrounding Real Club de Golf Las Brisas, in the heart of Nueva Andalucía. The course, founded in 1968 to a Robert Trent Jones design, has 18 holes, par 71, ten artificial lakes and elevated greens, and is one of the most respected in Spain. The villas are laid out along tree-lined streets around the fairways, many with direct views of the golf and, on the higher levels, of the sea.
It is one of the most established and most sought-after areas of Marbella, with a mix of classic villas from the seventies and eighties and contemporary new builds that have gradually replaced them.
Where is Las Brisas?
In the centre of the Golf Valley, between Aloha to the north and the entrance from Puerto Banús to the south. Access is via the main avenues of Nueva Andalucía, and Puerto Banús, with its beach, restaurants and shops, is about five minutes away by car. Aloha College is a few minutes away.
What kind of property is there in Las Brisas?
Almost exclusively detached villas on their own plots, many on the front line of the golf. The classic Andalusian villa with a mature garden lives alongside the newly built contemporary villa, which in recent years has replaced many of the older ones. There are also a few high-quality apartment and townhouse complexes on the edges of the sector. It is an area of resale and rebuilding rather than large-scale new development.
Who is Las Brisas for?
For those who want a villa in Marbella with golf on the doorstep, a school nearby and Puerto Banús five minutes away, in a mature and quiet area. It is one of the most recognised addresses in the Golf Valley, and that shows in price and liquidity: anything sensibly priced sells.
