What is Cabopino?

Cabopino is the eastern edge of the municipality of Marbella, already bordering Mijas. It has its own small marina with a fishing-village feel, with restaurants around the basin, and a beach backed by the Artola dunes, declared a natural monument and protected for their ecological value. The combination of marina, dunes and pine woodland is unique on this part of the coast: no other stretch between Marbella and Fuengirola has a protected dune system beside a marina. Cabopino Golf lies immediately behind.
