Real de La Quinta is a 200-hectare residential development in the municipality of Benahavís, promoted by the Pascual family, conceived as a five-star destination within the Costa del Sol. Its centrepiece is a navigable artificial lake of 3.5 hectares, the first of its kind in southern Spain, with a private beach, water sports and the El Lago Club shopping centre. The project plans a boutique hotel under the Angsana brand, by Banyan Tree, a golf course, a spa, an equestrian club and sports areas.
It is built to BREEAM sustainability certification, and the setting allows panoramic views of the sea, the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park, the Istán reservoir and the peak of La Concha. It is about ten minutes from Puerto Banús and fifteen from Marbella.
