What is La Cala Golf?
La Cala Golf is the development surrounding La Cala Resort, in an inland valley of the municipality of Mijas a few kilometres from La Cala de Mijas. The resort has three 18-hole courses designed by Cabell B. Robinson: Campo América, par 72 and 6,009 metres, with views of the Sierra de Ojén and the sea; Campo Asia, par 72 and the oldest and most demanding; and Campo Europa, par 71 and the widest. It is recognised by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation as the largest golf complex in Spain. The beach is about ten minutes away by car and the airport less than half an hour.
